Every day, I feel grateful to do this work. There is nothing more humbling and awe inspiring than witnessing someone’s story unfold through self-acceptance and healing. I absolutely love walking with clients on their journey as they stretch themselves beyond what they thought they were capable of. I believe that the most important part of counseling is in developing a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect, safety, and collaboration. I try to bring compassion and humor to every session so that my clients can feel comforted and supported in accessing their vulnerability.

I started Inner Bloom Counseling to offer individual psychotherapeutic services to clients in and around Biddeford, Maine. I also work as a Clinical Counselor at University of New England’s Counseling Services. I graduated with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Southern Maine and I am trained for work with individuals and groups in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health and interpersonal challenges.

Prior to my work in counseling, I completed a MA degree in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU where I studied identity, representation, and how to utilize media and storytelling as a tool for social change. I worked in marketing and consulting with non-profits and small businesses for several years and really enjoyed helping clients to discover and communicate an authentic and compelling brand story. While my career began with a focus on creating systemic social change, I noticed that mental health played a tremendous role in each individual’s ability to bring their highest self to the work. This awareness inspired me to start my own spiritual journey and I have since become a trained Reiki Practitioner and Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I seek to help people foster deeper connection and understanding at the nexus of body, mind, relationship, work, community, and spirituality.

“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness.”

Mental Health Counseling in Biddeford, Maine

The office is located on the main floor of the North Dam Mills in Biddeford, Maine. Parking and easy access to the building are available.

It’s important to me to provide a safe and cozy office space that soothes the senses so that clients can turn inward. You’ll find warm lamp lighting, tea, plants, and soft pillows. I often use incense and essential oils. The office also includes space for yoga mats as well as a sand tray for expressive work. When it’s appealing to clients, I will bring my dog Gammy for animal-assisted therapy.
